Bathing in Himalayan salts:

Himalayan bath salts, contains 84 essential minerals, more than any other bath salt, including magnesium, potassium, bromide and calcium which are readily absorbed into the skin during a 15-30 minute bath.

Himalayan bath salt is known to alleviate severe cases of dry skin disorders. Dip into a Himalayan salt bath and it will stimulate circulation, hydrate the skin, increase moisture retention, promote cellular regeneration, detoxify the skin and help heal dry, scaling, irritated skin. Salt water bathing reduces inflammation of the muscles and joints, relaxes muscles and relieves pain and soreness and will improve psoriasis.

Add Himalayan bath salt to a bath tub; and fill the bath with warm water. You may add essential oils to your bath to create a beautiful aroma and further assist the healing process. Make sure the water temperature is around body temperature – 37C for maximum benefit. Do not have the water too hot as the crystal salts will maintain the original temperature and you could overheat. For a mineral treatment soak for around 15 min or soak 30 minutes for a full body detox.

If possible, rest for about 30 minutes after bath.
